iGOOGLE

Have set up an iGoogle page with all the essentials of life so far : the date, time, weather, book of the day, quote of the day, word of the day and Google news (which I'll change to ABC news). My backdrop is a nice winter scene of something suitably cold, as befitting a Melbourne winter.

RSS FEEDS

Have had a second try at RSS feeds; with a few false starts. Tried the State Library of Victoria's website but that didn't work, then some Agatha Christie sites which turned out to be full of junk and not about her novels; now have settled on the ABC. The problem is unfortunately our firewalls deny a direct link but have left the web address there to pretend.

Soccer shirt : the European Cup 2008 is coming; and will be held in the Austria without kangaroos (but has Inspector Rex).
